Sustainability

Sustainability is a business approach to create long-term value by taking into consideration how AIP operates in the ecological, social and economic environment.

Therefore, we participate in several initiatives to improve our sustainable performance and make business processes transparent.

Path Towards a Greener Future

Our unwavering commitment to sustainability extends to our product offerings. We continuously innovate and implement eco-friendly solutions in our paper sacks, promoting the use of renewable and recyclable materials. Our paper sacks are designed to be biodegradable, aligning with circular economy principles, and reducing the environmental impact of packaging waste.

Beyond our products, sustainability drives our operational practices. We strive to optimize resource use, minimize waste, and promote responsible sourcing throughout our supply chain. By forging partnerships with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability, we collectively work towards creating a positive ripple effect on environmental conservation.

Building a Better World

At AIP, we recognize that sustainability is not just an option; it’s a necessity for a thriving future. We are deeply committed to continually improving our sustainability efforts and being a responsible corporate citizen. Together, with our customers, partners, and employees, we can build a more sustainable world for generations to come.

Join us on this journey towards a more sustainable future. Let’s create positive change together.

EcoVadis

We also collaborate with EcoVadis, esteemed organization that assesses our sustainability performance, ensuring we meet the highest standards of ethical practices and environmental stewardship. This partnership empowers us to continuously improve and hold ourselves accountable for creating a positive impact on the environment and society.

In April 2023, we achieved the Platinum Medal on the independent EcoVadis platform, placing us among the top 1% of companies rated by this agency.

FSC

FSC® is a global certification system that defines ten principles of responsible forest management for a manager or owner to follow. This enables specifiers to purchase wood from identifiable, well- managed forests. As a benchmark, any FSC® standard has to be interpreted at national level in order for it to be implemented within local forests.

Furthermore, we are proud to share that all our production sites are certified within the FSC® (FSC License FSC-C018056) supply chain of custody. This certification underscores our commitment to responsible forest management, promoting biodiversity and supporting local communities.

Sustainability Report (GRI)

Transparency is paramount to us, which is why we have made our Sustainability report (made in accordance with GRI standards) available on our corporate website. This comprehensive report outlines our sustainability performance, progress, and future aspirations. We believe in being accountable to our stakeholders and are committed to continuous improvement.

GRI report is available on the corporate website and is being updated annually.

UNGC

At AIP, sustainability is not just a buzzword; it’s a guiding principle that influences every aspect of our operations. Since 2018 we are proud participants of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), demonstrating our commitment to aligning our strategies and actions with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
